Anyone else had this??

So, this week I developed a new symptom of being pregnant. With Anderson, I was sick pretty much the first 7 months, throwing up everyday and all of the time. This includes in the car, in my hand, in plastic bags, anywhere really. Luckily, this time brings a lot less throwing up but still nausea. This week though, I started to become really itchy. My legs and arms are covered with what looks like hives or a skin rash. Anyone who knows me knows I have no fingernails, so I get creative. Tim scratched my legs but that wasn't enough. I got the round brush and went to town, until my legs were bright red and on fire. My mom suggested taking a bath with oatmeal, and that was a bust (and gross). Anything that has a sharp edge, doubles as a scratcher. My doctor said I can take benadryl but that only helps for a bit and makes me completely wasted. Anyone else ever had this when pregnant?? It's lasted since Tuesday and today is SATURDAY! I don't think I can take it much longer. I woke up last night at 3:30 am with an itching attack and it did not turn out pretty. It's for the best I don't post any pictures.

A bad case of the Mondays

Today I knew I had to get out of the house for a good portion of the day so I called Kaci and told her I'm coming over. We know if either of us calls before 9:00 that we're doing something that day. Anderson is starting to actually play with his cousins so he enjoys it too. It's nice to have other kids to play with. This is him with Leah. She's 3 1/2 months older than Anderson.

This is another side of Leah, maybe not her best side. I couldn't snap a picture when she was bent over but it was so funny.
This is baby Marley, she is 9 weeks old and so cute. Anderson just kinda stares at her and sometimes tries to hug her legs.
In the afternoon it started storming like crazy. We were afraid the second coming was here. It was scary, but afterwards, Anderson was playing in Kaci's yard and enjoying every second of it. His cousins were pushing him up the slide and then letting go so he would slide down. They would all crack up. Anderson loved it! By the way, that is mud on his chin...I don't think his dad could even grow a goatee like that! After I gave him a bath, he cried to go outside, but I wasn't about to clean him up again. He settled for standing at the door staring out the window. Sad, but not sad enough.

Busy Weekend

This weekend Marci and I threw a shower for Chaylyn! She and Carolyn flew in from out of town and came to party. There was so many old friends that came (not to mention SO MANY people in general) and Chay got a ton of cute stuff. This is me, Marci, Lindsay Bremner and Chay right before the crowd showed up. There is pictures of the food and table on Marci's blog. I forgot to snap some in the midst of the last minute chaos to get everything done in time. The rest of the weekend I sat on the couch, went to bed at 9:00 every night, and tried to recover. I always tell Tim, making a baby is tiring! Everything turned out good and it was fun to see everyone. Thanks to those who came and we missed you who couldn't (Christa and Chelsea for sure).

Best Timing

Tim had to go to Tucson for work last minute overnight and I don't even care because I discovered there is a Laguna Beach Season one marathon on VH1. I am DVRing every episode and I already called people to tell them. Yes I am 27 years old and a mom. I don't care.

I love it when Anderson gets a new hair cut. It looks so nice and I know it will last long! He basically got his head shaved but I love it.

I was pretty much smiling this big too (without the gapped chipped teeth) when I was driving home today and saw a sign that said they would be building a brand new QT like 1/2 a mile from my house. I'm not kidding it made my day. I can't wait. I'm sure I will be on a first name basis with the workers (it won't be the first time) and they will be seeing me multiple times a day. Especially when I'm not pregnant and can enjoy a big soda without worrying about it!

This is me about a week before I had Anderson last year. I guess this is what I'll look like again in Feburary. I am pregnant, and just went to the doctor this week. I am about 12 weeks and due Feb. 15th (no V-day baby hopefully). I can't wait to get fat and big, not be able to sleep at night, be sick all day (too late for that one), and not be able to pick anything up off the ground. I pretty much get just as excited to have a baby as I am to not be pregnant anymore. Oh well. We are happy and find out what we our having in September. Can't wait! By the way, I think I had grapes in my cheeks, they really weren't that big in this picture!
