Getting Ready

We are just getting ready for the baby around here. As you can see, Anderson may be in denial that he is "being replaced next week" (that is what Tim says--he is joking of course). This is the little mini crib that Tim was in as a baby and his mom gave it to us for Andy, and we'll use it again. Less than a week now. I am having a terrible time sleeping, going to the bathroom every second, and feeling soo tired. I know that it has only just begun with the tired part! Thanks to everyone who came to the showers and brought such nice gifts. Baby Minnie will definately be more stylish than her mother...which isn't hard one bit.

10 Years

That's right, we've officially been graduated from High School for 10 years! Our reunion is this year, and a blog has been made to update people and find people. Check it out, it's on my list or the site is www.chandlerhighreunion1999.blogspot.com. So, if you are a former wolf, tell your friends. Don't be a bust. And if you are worried, you have until October to start losing weight so you can fit into those high school jeans. Or if you are me, high school sweats!

Baby's Room

The baby's room is almost totally done. There is still a few things missing, but for the most part, we are ready. I have to brag a bit, that this entire room so far has only cost us $17. Not bad.

My mom had given me a twin sheet set a while ago which I used to make the bedding. I think it goes with the garden room theme, even though Tim thinks it's a bit "grandma-ish". The chandelier I've had forever and got it at Target for like $4 at least 3 years ago. I'm glad I kept it.
It pays to have a husband who is an engineer, and likes to help me with my stuff. This valence was here when we moved in so we just used it to make our own little awning. We were going to do a regular flower box but I had seen this kind in a magazine a long time ago and wanted to try it. My mom had all of the buckets and I already had the flowers. The most expensive thing was the brackets for the shelf. They were $9!

Now all we need is a baby, who won't even sleep in this room for a while...of course.

One more month

I officially have one more month to go before I am not pregnant any more, I mean before I have a baby. Since I am having a c-section, it's scheduled, which I've decided is good and bad. Good because I can schedule everything else and know when it is and there is no surprises. Bad because I know when it is so I can't wait for it to come. I get just as excited, if not more, to not be pregnant anymore than to have a baby. It's ridiculous I know. Anyway, Feburary 5th is it. Maybe I'll make a paper chain to help pass the time...
