A Haircut and a Shave

Whenever Tim and I are getting ready, Anderson loves to be in the bathroom. So, Tim started giving him the full treatment, and giving him a "haircut" and a "shave". This might be the only time EVER, that he actually sits perfectly still. He loves it. When Tim isn't there, he gets the razor out of the drawer and hands it to me and says, "Please?". So, I have to give him a shave. He is a Coombs in the hair department, meaning he has it everywhere already, and more than his dad.

Project Day

Today was "Project Day". Kaci came over and we both had some things we were working on. So, Anderson and Leah enjoyed a healthy lunch of peanut butter cookies, and topped it off with a few starbursts. That counts for a protein and fruit serving right? Anything to keep them happy during project time. What good mom's we are!

Isn't it weird how Boys play much differently than girls?? I realized this as we watched Sleeping Beauty the other night and Anderson sat there for about 5 minutes, then went and got his car to roll around the house. Just today he has tried climbing out of my shopping cart twice, once head first (thanks Marci for catching him), dove off the ottoman head first about 5 times, tried to use the cabinet handles on the drawers to climb up on the counter for a cookie, and spun around in circles for about 10 minutes laughing every time he fell on the ground (just missing every sharp corner in the house). Oh please be right ultrasound...we need a girl around here. (Mom is not enough)

Halloween

Mini-me?? We weren't sure if Anderson was going to be afraid of Tim in his Robot costume, but it didn't phase him.

On the other hand, putting his costume on for the millionth time yesterday did phase him.
He lasted about 2 houses trick or treating with his Vanderwalker cousins. I think he thought we were going to leave him at the house...I thought about it but decided against it.

This is the best shot I got before Andy threw his hat down. These are some Vandy cousins trick or treating together. I didn't live in a neighborhood growing up and we NEVER had trick or treaters, so I was excited to go home and pass out candy at my own house. I've never done it before. My favorite trick or treaters were Cash and Carter! Thanks for stopping by on your way to Seattle Chelsea! It was a nice surprise!
