In my opinion, the hardest thing about being a mom is feeding the kids. I hate it. It wouldn't be bad if they ate what you fixed, didn't chew it up then spit it out and stomp on it while it was on the ground (Thanks Andy--and it was a peanut butter sandwhich), and ate more nutritous food than treats. Latley I have been totally dredding lunch and dinner. If it's not bananas, Minnie doesn't want it. If it is not cancakes (pancakes) or waffles, Andy doesn't want it. Not to mention the fact that Minnie decided when she turned 7 months that she didn't want to take a bottle anymore, which she was doing fine up until then. Lately I have had it with meal time.
No this isn't from Anderson not cooperating during meal time, but I may be running out of options soon. Just Kidding. Tim and I went to North Carolina to surprise his oldest brother for his 4oth Birthday. Tim was just going to go, then I decided after him that I wanted to come too. We couldn't really afford to pay for Andy, so my sister watched him for a few days and this happend at her house conveniently when she wasn't looking and didn't see what happend (just kidding again).
See what I mean. You would think this was maybe during the first week of introducing baby food, but no, this was a couple days ago. Minnie is 8 months old now. She is lucky she is cute.

Oh the dreaded meal times. Aaron is similar--bread, carrots, rice, fruit, milk, those are his essential foods. Mac and Cheese has fallen off the list along with Green beans so I understand how tough it is. Hopefully they both start eating a little more.
Minnie is for sure cute with her food all over though. And that shiner on Andy--WOW :D.
Meal time just sucks. I am in the same boat. Aiden tosses his food across the house and then jumps in it. Ug. Ellee wont eat anything but yogurt and home-made baby food. I really do wish the husbands could produce milk :)
Brynlee won't take a bottle at all so I'm in the same boat. I know I blogged that she loved rice cereal...she did for about 2 days. Now she wants nothing to do with any solid food. Nash has always been super picky. He goes to bed almost every night without dinner. Oh well...he's not going to starve. He'll just hold out until breakfast. Mealtimes are the hardest! My advice...don't cater to them or they will be the pickiest eaters ever. My motto is take it or leave it. No other options. If they are really really hungry, they will eat what is put in front of them. I know it is sooo hard and frustrating! Good luck.
