Camping

We just got back from camping for a few days up near Payson with Tim's parents. It was fun. Anderson loved to explore everything and was happy just walking around all day. It was a lot cooler (at least in the shade) and nice to wear a sweater at night.

Obviously, he wasn't too happy here. We got there at night and didn't notice that our campsite said "reserved" so we found out in the morning we had to move everything to a new place. Did I mention Tim's dad was coming up later that day? So I pretty much was on Anderson duty while Tim and his mom moved everything and re-set up camp. Oh the joys of camping.
About an hour into the trip, Anderson was trying to get from the pavement to the gravel and face planted. His eye was all scratched up and had a big bruise. It was rough looking. My mom told me I need to get a helmet for him. He is always getting bruises and bumps on his head.

This is Tim and Andy walking back from our many trips to the bathroom. Gotta love camping.

Anyone else feel like this?

Before church:
After church:
Me too Anderson. Me too.

I don't have much to post, but I saw this on Chelsea's.

Memory bandwagon
I am jumping on the memory bandwagon post. I think it is fun to reminisce!

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.EVERYBODY PLAY! I want to see what memories are out there!!

4th of July

We had a family reunion at my Grandma's cabin for the fourth of July this year. We love to go stay and this was the first year Anderson was old enough to sort of know what is going on. One of my all-time favorite things to do here is to go on a jeep ride. This is a 1947 jeep that my grandma and grandpa keep running so we can take it on rides through the forrest. It is so hard to drive, but so fun. I did almost kill us all though, I'm a little rusty.

My grandpa took Anderson on a few quad rides. He talked and laughed the whole time.
This is us at the parade in Eager. Not a bad parade for good old Eager and Springerville.
This is the line of Jones' (my cousins' kids) at the parade. The got bags of candy. It was so funny to watch them get so excited! They didn't have fireworks but the parade is always a hit. And it was a heck of a lot cooler than here!

Zoo

Tim surprised me and took Friday off (which is a big deal because he NEVER misses work) and we went to the Zoo for my birthday. It was soo hot (as you can see by Anderson's sweaty hair after we took his hat off).

Anderson loved the petting zoo. He pet (more like hit) all of the goats and loved it.

It was fun but I don't think I'll ever go in the summer again. We are going to my grandma's cabin today for the fourth and a family reunion. I can't wait to get out of the heat!
